Under Construction...Brand New site coming soon! The Shrimp Boat Restaurant is resurrected and it opened it's doors Saturday, November 1, 2008. The historic landmark of St. Andrews has been under construction for 2 1/2 years and is now opening. Carrying on the family tradition, Loren Smith, owner and son of the original Shrimp Boat Restaurant owner in the 1950's, has raised the bar on dining in the Gulf Coast area. The new establishment is 310 feet long, 3 stories high with over 24,000 square feet and is modeled architecturally after a 19th-Century Cuban Cigar Factory. The restaurant features an expo kitchen open to customers entering the restaurant or dining at the sushi bar. There is a 55 foot long bar overlooking Smith Yacht Basin and the activities of the privately owned marina. Two large banquet rooms are housed upstairs for year round parties and functions. Also stop in and enjoy The Gracie Rae Bar & Grill for casual water front dining or The Salty Hawg Oyster Bar & Saloon for the coldest and freshest oysters in town, only $4.99 a dozen raw. The Shrimp Boat is open seven days a week 4:00 PM | RESERVATIONS NOT ACCEPTED The Gracie Rae bar & Grill is open daily at 11:00 AM The Salty Hawg is open daily at 11:00 AM |
